Rachel Pfennig Hales is a writer-turned-roadie, turned back. Rachel spent her early career touring the world as part of the production crews for both the Black Eyed Peas and Lynyrd Skynyrd. A theatre kid at heart, she found her home in the live event industry, helping grow a one-of-a-kind brand for Rock Lititz as Client and Community Development Manager, while publishing articles about various productions and the teams that create them.

 

She values how writing continues to intersect with all the passions in her life. She has earned BAs from DePauw University, an MA in English Studies from National University, and an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Goucher College. Rachel especially loves nonfiction stories of growth, that offer a unique voice or perspective. Tour Book, her first full length publication was published April 2021.
